This is the movie Ram Gopal needed to showcase his art in voilence.

This is the movie Abhishek needed to be called as an Actor. 

This is the movie Amithab needed to prove that he understands the requirement of the role and does it seamlessly.



The Billboard outside Satyam theater shows who Sarkar really is.

In this movie, Amithab is the Sarkar, both the goverment Sarkar and as a person, the Sarkar of Mumbai. Neither is he a Don nor does he have a Company. He lives in a medium size house with his wife and two sons and thier families. He helps people. Some people like him. Some dont. Unfortunately, for those who dont like him, they cant even kick his balls cause he is Sarkar. So they form a small group and bring down the SARKAR. And....Enough said. Go watch it.


 "There is no right or wrong. Sarkar has the power to change wrong to right..."


This female is the only glamour factor.

What i felt:

RamGopal was able to potray what's really running in his head. Like most of his movies, less talk and communication is through facial expression and emotions.

Dialogue is one thing makes your ears tilt towards the speakers. Its strong. No one blabbers.

RamGopal has done to Abhi what he did for Urmila.

The cons side, the movie is very slow. Although the song factor is a sin in RG's movies ,there is also no bgm in Sarkar like D or Company.


The verdict: This movie is for the hardcore buffs. Its not a story of a DON, but of how the trust of the people can make you a SARKAR.
